Many works of art inside, in particular a sepulchre of polychrome characters; a tree of Jesse, and various works by the chaumontais sculptor Bouchardon: high altar, Chair, work bench, furniture.

The Hotel de Ville
The whole edifice, beautiful proportions, was done in a style Louis XVI well understood. It was built on the eve of the revolution by the architect François Nicolas Lancret. Started in 1787, it was completed and approved in August 1790. Note on the triangular pediment of the stem, the figuration of the arms of the city in the midst of military emblems. Therefore, you can admire more than 70 of them, showing off the rounding of their corbelled, carved coats of arms, niches, or the rigidity of their square lines. These turrets, dating from the 16th or 17th century, contain the spiral staircase serving the floors of the houses downtown, and the 'old Chaumont» nestled in its ramparts, at the top of its rocky outcrop in particular.

Chapelle des Jésuites
Commonly called 'High school Chapel'. The set was built from 1629 to 1632 by architects of the society of Jesus. Behind the high altar in carved and gilded wood, is a magnificent altarpiece ' assumption of Bouchardon) which comes from the chapel of the convent of the Ursulines, today destroyed.
